New Epson SureLab SL-D1000 ‘seeing double’!
Epson announces “breakthrough for the photo production market” with SL-D800 replacement
The Epson SureLab SL-D1000 is a small printer, with an increased print speed and a longer printer life of 400K 10×15 prints, compared to its predecessor the SL-D800. Epson has called this latest printer a “game changer”.
With the new printer comes the introduction of two-sided printing, higher print volumes than the predecessor, as well as larger ‘RIPS’ bags for less frequent ink changes (25% more ink).
The D1000 supports all the existing features of previous SureLab printers; and with the addition of duplex printing, enables the ability to do PhotoBooks.
Flexibility has been further enhanced with improved connectivity options, with the addition of LAN and Wi-Fi to complement USB; and job management can take advantage of the integrated output tray and LCD display.

UPDATE: The wait is over! The much anticipated Epson SureLab SL-D1060 has now been released, and shipments are finally going out as of September 2022.
